I hadn't planned to make this into a series, but one day, after completing a Megadeth drawing, I found an old KoRn
drawing floating around, and decided to turn it into a series. After all, I was planning a drawing of Metallica's "One"'s
album cover, so why not?
KoRn album cover- Issues
Note:Completed in Brazil when I found a pic of the album cover that I printed out and never hung on my wall. Meh,
when you're trapped in South America with nothing to do for 8 hours every day for about a month, why not? Coloring started
on the plane ride home, and finished a few weeks ago.
Megadeth's mascot, Vic Rattlehead
Note: Completed in about an hour and a half when I was stuck in the house all day last week because I was sick.
I hung it on my locker.
Metallica Album cover: One
Note: A homage to one of Metallica's greatest songs. Made especially for my locker.
Arsenal of Megadeth
Note:This drawing was done as a request from a kid near my locker at school who saw the other Vic drawing and wanted one of
his own. I think this is a huge improvement over my last one, because this was done over a period of several days as opposed
to two hours. The writing on the bomb is in Hangul, Korean
메가데스 = Megadeth
병기창 = "Military Bank", "Ordnance Depot", "Arsenal"
메가데스 병기창 = "Arsenal of Megadeth" (Loose Translations)
"Jump in the Fire" by Metallica EP artwork
Note: Because the artwork was mostly various shades of red and subtle shadows with very little edges, this drawing was extremely
hard to draw. The shadows and shading on the skin was produced mainly by scribbling in pencil (with varying pressure to produce
darker or lighter shadows), then finger smudging to reduce the roughness of the scribbles so that is was smoother and would
blend in with everything.
